Nail Art!

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog! Hope you enjoy todays post!

Now when I was younger I used to do a lot of nail art like flowers and dot. But as I got older I stopped doing it as much as I didn't have as much time or the patience to wait for it to dry. But the other day I decided to give it a go again. I chose to do purple dots starting with a dark colour and getting lighter. To do this I used a dotting tool which I got of amazon years ago.

The first thing I did was prep my nails my using the BarryM Super Mani nail polish which helps to protect my nails. I then used the BarryM Hi Shine nail paint in coconut on all of my nails to give them a background colour. Once that had dried I used the darkest colour and did a line of dots going across the middle of my nails diagonally. I then used the next colour and did lines each side of the first and then did the same with the lightest colour on the outer parts of my nails. This gives the dots an ombre effect going from dark to light.

The final step is to apply a top coat when the nails have dried. They may take longer to dry as the nail polish is thicker. I decided to use a matte top coast as I have been loving matte nails recently and I find that they stay on longer for some reason. Once the nails have dried they are done!

Hope you enjoyed the post! Would love to see if any of you do nail art!
