Broken Mirror Shoot!

Hey everyone! Todays post is going to be some photos from a shoot I did, which was for one of my college projects.

These images are from a project called fragments which we could take in any direction we wanted. I decided to look at the fragments of a mirror and distorting the objects. As you can see in the images the broken mirror distorts the object in the photo. To create the image I used mirrored tiles and stuck the back onto card so that when I smashed it, it was still attached to something. I then photographed the reflection in the mirror mostly focusing on nature.

This idea and shoot was inspired by a photographer I had been looking at called Bing Wright. I had seen his photography a few years ago while doing my AS level and really wanted to try out a shoot along the same theme, so I thought this was the perfect project to try it in. I was really proud of these images and they are ones I then used as my finals for the project.

I hope you enjoy looking at them! :)
